Malpais and Santa Teresa Community

Malpais and Montezuma have a tremendous number of very talented people from all parts of the world. Here we have artists, dancers, photographers, designers, healers, and many other professionals and amateurs who have brought their skills with them or learned here. For such an out of the way place, it’s amazing what can be accomplished here with the brainpower and creativity in the area. We’ve broken these skill sets down into six basic categories, and are providing contact information for anyone with a skill that wants to be listed here. This is far from a complete list, and will be improved over time.

Both Montezuma and Malpais have many talented artisans and craftspeople who live and work in the area, or visit for extended periods. Some do their own artwork for fun, and others are available for hire if you have a project.
