This website was designed and built by me, Geoff McCabe. I took most of the photographs as well, and made the maps in the map sections, which took hours and hours to get all the elevations colorized! If you're interested in adding something to the site, such as your business, please let me know. I require a link back for most hotels.
If you have an ecological project or something that's of great benefit to the community or something I just think is really cool, then let me know and if I have time I'll put some kind of feature for you on the website. I want to help all of you to have a great time, whether you're visiting or living here, so feel free to send me emails which require short answers, but please don't send me emails with long lists of ridiculously detailed questions... I'm just too busy. Also, please don't send me an email request like the one I got a couple of years ago. Some guy from Switzerland came to Malpais and evidently fell in love with a Tica here, but never told her (this he explained in his email.) After going back to Switzerland, he realized he was in love for the first time in his life, and was desperate to re-connect with her. He kept emailing me to help him find her, and so finally I did, discovering she had already married someone else! So then I had to be the bearer of bad news to this poor guy, breaking his heart. So, don't email me to find your soul mate unless you're sure he or she feels the same way about you!!! Thank you and have a great time in Costa Rica.
