Accommodation and Amenities
Tucked away in the heart of Costa Rica’s indigenous vegetation, Latitude 10’s five casitas spell natural charm and class. Each private bungalow is unusually and elegantly appointed, to sport its own unique persona and aura. The private casitas are created out of almond wood and adorned with touches of native art and handicrafts. Guests can discover small treasures and tiny knick knacks in the form if a coconut shell filled with sand or a bamboo ladder. Every room features such creative decoratives that epitomize the spirit of Costa Rica’s natural and tropical splendor.
All casitas are designed and built by an award winning architect without having harmed any trees in the process. The elegant wooded structures have shades but windows, locks and doors are completely missing here. There are open air bathrooms featuring hot water showers and verdant gardens. More than a mere room, Latitude 10 is a lovingly and eco consciously built structure that reinforces the philosophy of being one with nature.
In addition to cosy naturally built rooms and open air bathrooms, the hotel has porches with comfortable chairs and hammocks (for lazy tea time conversations and post lunch siestas), ceiling fans, safe deposit boxes, and twice-daily housekeeping. Come sundown and the property will pull down the shades, light beautiful candles and dim the lights to create a mystical and romantic ambiance. Latitude 10’s turndown service complemented by the untamed sounds nature (howler monkeys, chirping birds, waves lashing wistfully) offer a serene signature Costa Rican experience.

Master Suite – Latitude 10’s Master Suites are sprawling and plush in appearance, and can house from one to three people. The sleeping quarters combine with a relaxing lounge area and a table setting for four. Both the Master Suites have an ocean view and sport spacious front porches where guests can let their hair down and enjoy the poetic Santa Teresa sunsets.
Premium Junior – Private and appealing, Latitude 10’s Premium Junior Suite is encircled by tropical gardens and offer similar amenities as the Junior Suites but with a King sized bed.
Junior Suite – Latitude 10 offers a couple Junior Suites, each with a signature décor that gives it a unique personality. Tropical, Mediterranean, old world or fusion, each suite offers seclusion and comfort. Both their Junior Suites feature queen sized beds.
Guestroom – This room is attached to Latitude 10’s main structure but the quality of fittings is not the same as the other rooms. This room is smaller in size and the main difference is that it does not feature a porch or deck around it. This is the hotel’s sole room with air conditioning.
